QA Engineer
Description
We’re looking for a dynamic QA Engineer who enjoys covering a wide range of QA responsibilities. From validating the user experience, to improving QA processes and executing manual and automated tests.
What you’ll do:
As a QA Engineer you’ll be embedded in the engineering team and work closely with the product team. Activities will include:
- Working with the product team, UI/UX, SMEs and Engineers to understand requirements and develop the appropriate test approach
- Perform manual and automated test execution as part of functional, system, regression and usability tests
- Design test artefacts such as test plans, test cases, test completion reports
- Develop, execute, and maintain test suites for API based testing
- Design and implement robust, scalable, high-quality Test Automation Suites using C#, Selenium and NUnit
- Execute API based tests using Postman and the internal API automation tools
- Analyse test results, identify, document, and report root causes for test failures by working with the development team and the defect tracking system
- Defect Management across all areas of the lifecycle including regular triage meetings
- Identify opportunities for process, tools, and test methodology improvements, and assist in the implementation of initiatives and ideas
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience working on medium to large testing projects
- 2+ years of experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman / APImatic etc
- 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and executing automated tests using C#
- Good understanding of testing in an agile environment
- Strong communication and documentation skills including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving abilities
