Proactively detect critical events and automate actions.
Our new Workflow Automation Engine keeps you ahead by proactively detecting critical events and automating actions—so you can act in real time, not after the damage is done.
Setting the right workflows allows you to sit back and let CONNECT do the investigation for you.
How It Works
Each workflow consists of three simple parts:
- WHEN: The trigger event — such as a new billing account being created or an idle service being detected.
- IF: The condition — refine your focus by setting criteria, e.g. only notify me when a new bill arrives for this specific billing account.
- THEN: The action — automatically send an email, post a message to Slack or Microsoft Teams, create a ServiceNow or Jira ticket, or call your own API to launch further automations.
Connecting Workflows with your systems
Enable real-time data synchronization between Bluewater CONNECT and your systems using webhooks with the Workflows. By configuring a workflow to trigger your endpoint on specific events, you can keep systems aligned without manual intervention.
Define your endpoint, customise request headers for secure communication, and tailor the payload to deliver exactly the data you need, in your preferred format. Include contextual event details like External ID, Name, and Description in the payload.
Test the webhook configuration and you're ready to go. From that point on, your endpoint will be automatically called whenever the specified event occurs.
